On Saturday evening, we had the privilege of hearing Andy play the piano at a recital held by all of the students of his piano teacher, Mr. Woods. Andy did an AWESOME job! I never cease to be amazed by Andy's talent! He played "Jesus Loves Me" and "The Elephant and the Flea". David's parents, Nanny and Paw Paw (as we call them!) came down from Virginia to enjoy the recital. Way to go, Andy!
We had a wonderful visit with David's folks. We were able to celebrate both Maggie's birthday and David's birthday with them (David will be 38 in a few days!) We went out to lunch after church at a Chinese restaurant on Sunday, and Maggie noticed a statue of Buddha on a table. She commented on it to David, so David began to explain how Buddhists do not believe in the one true God, and continued to explain more about their religion. Maggie looked at him and said, "But ... they have good food!" Too funny!

Andy, When you become a famous pianist, don't forget us! :o) When you come visit again, perhaps you could play for us at church. I think Jesus Loves Me would be wonderful to hear while the offering is being collected. I am sure Mrs. Judd wouldn't mind--she can go tend to her new baby! :o)
